Westland Oaks is a residential subdivision located along Westland Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee. Developed by Ball Homes 

The area surrounding Westland Oaks has a rich history. Notably, the Lones family, originally from Pennsylvania, settled nearby in the late 1790s. They constructed a small home using hand-hewn oak and poplar logs before building a brick house slightly to the east, which still stands today. Adjacent to this historic house is a walking trail connected to the Dowell Springs development. The family cemetery east of the house contains gravestones for Charles Lones (1812-1888), Rebecca Lones (1822-1863), and Lizzie Lones (1853-1889).over a decade ago, the neighborhood features a variety of housing types designed to cater to diverse preferences.
